Sponsorship

2024 Opportunities

Film Festival sponsorship, artist / audience engagement, filmmaker forums & youth workshops are just a few of the ways that PHLAFF provides a platform for brands to activate in unique and innovative ways to the Latino and Latinx community. We have a long history of successfully collaborating with brands that support the work we do as a non-profit and that share our values of independent spirit, creativity, innovation and storytelling.

BY SPONSORING PHLAFF YOU WILL:

  • Target new, engaged and diverse audiences across all age groups

  • Make a high visibility investment through various media, social media and live forums

  • Increase brand loyalty and appreciation

  • Support arts, education and community on a local, national and international level

Why PHLAFF?

Festivals such as PHLAFF put us on a larger stage and create more channels for us to get our stories out. We need to build solidarity with Latino communities across the nation — the globe even — and PHLAFF allows us to connect with them and amplify the voices of our people.
— Michael Shawn Cordero, Defend Puerto Rico

PHLAFF attracts a diverse audience and provides a space for filmmakers, actors, and producers to meet other artists, engage with audiences, and present and discuss innovative work.

PHLAFF engages the region through the universal language of film, creating critical connections, shared experiences, and cross-cultural understanding.

As part of our commitment to uplift and celebrate Latine creatives and interdisciplinary practices intentionally, we are expanding/infusing our programming with other disciplines. At the close of our 2023 season, PHLAFF announced that we would be transitioning from the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival to the Philadelphia Latino Arts & Film Festival.

Our annual celebration of Latino and Latinx cinema offers us the wonderful opportunity to bring folks together to build community. PHLAFF's programming focuses on the diverse experiences and realities of our people. Our team is grounded in our commitment to share the power of film to facilitate dialogue, build bridges and serve as a tool for social change in our communities. Sponsoring PHLAFF will provide your brand the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience while supporting Latine/x/a/o filmmakers.
