About the Filmmaker

Clark Barclay is a filmmaker and educator focused on social documentary and narrative storytelling. He began his career at 18 in Los Angeles, working as a PA, extra, and development intern. After earning a BA in Spanish, he taught 2nd grade in Guadalajara, Mexico. He holds an MFA in Screenwriting from UC Riverside. His work has been supported by NALIP and Veterans Affairs and screened at TIFF, NYLFF, and Oaxaca IFF. He teaches film in Northern California.
