About the Film
Set in the Argentine-Brazilian backlands, the film follows Zulma, a teenager from a poor family in a closed community ruled by fear and harsh traditions. About the Filmmaker
Axel Monsú (1981) lives and works in Misiones, a province in Argentina's northeast. He trained in film, television and theater, working as art director in regional features such as Adrift (2012, Fernando Pacheco) and A Sacred Gaucho (2020, Joaquín Pedretti). He also scripted the TV series Familia para armar (2019). For Your Sake (2024) is his first feature film as director.
