About the Filmmaker

J. William makes his directorial debut with ESL: More Than a Language, the culmination of a decade-long career in the film and video production worlds. Insatiably curious, he works to inspire others to live the same, to find wonder within the mundane and to seek the profound within the commonplace. He believes that every story is worth telling when it is told well and every moment is meaningful when it is lived well. He is thrilled to share this film — and the beautiful human stories therein — with the world.
