Balada de un inmigrante con memoria

About the Film

After submerging into a bowl of menudo, Alberto, an undocumented Mexican immigrant in the U.S., embarks on a surreal journey through his memories in search of the rosary his mother gave him before he left Mexico 30 years ago. As Alberto revisits key places from his past, from dusty soccer fields to childhood churches to the truck that smuggled him across the border, he realizes that this may be his final chance to speak with his mother. But to reach her, he must confront his deepest fears, including an immigration officer who chases him through this dreamlike world.
