EAST COAST USA PREMIERE

A grandmother comforts her two grandchildren.
Glafira poster; portrait of an elderly woman slightly smiling, looking off to the left side

Tony (a 25-year old Chicano) travels down to Ensenada, Mexico to reconnect with his grandmother through her swap meet endeavors forcing him to revisit his childhood memories of her. Glafira is universal in theme as it honors both the connection and disconnection between immigrant generations. It also brings awareness to the transborder community to help de-stigmatize the Mexico/California border.

Based on true events.
