About the Filmmaker
Sebastián Muro wrote and directed the short film 55 PILLS, which had its world premiere in the Orizzonti section of the 72nd Venice Biennale. His first feature documentary, RAFA, HIS DAD AND ME, a personal essay on paternal absence, premiered in 2021.
In 2016, he founded Nevada Cine, a production company with eight feature films including THE KLEZMER PROJECT (2023, Berlinale - Best First Feature Award), LA BARBARIE (2023, TIFF, Cinélatino), and APENAS EL SOL (2020, IDFA), among others.
