About the Filmmaker

EDDIE MUJICA is a Cuban-American writer, director and Emmy-winning producer originally from Hialeah, Florida. An alum of The Second City in Chicago, Eddie has 15+ years of improv and sketch comedy experience and staffed on shows for HBO Max, NBC, Peacock and Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw. His short film DREAMER was an Imagen Award finalist, while UNO POR UNO: THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS won Best Short at HBO's NYLFF and Cine Sony’s “New Voices”. Eddie's latest, LOCO, is a Shore Scripts Short Film Fund Grand Prize winner supported by the Sundance Institute's Latine Fellowship. He is currently back at The Second City performing in their new Mainstage Revue.
