About the Film

In Finding Pá, Miguel, a Puerto Rican man carrying the weight of a lifetime of abandonment, is forced to confront the past when the father who left him suddenly returns, frail and dying. As Miguel reluctantly becomes his caregiver, old wounds resurface and buried emotions rise to the surface. Through quiet moments, difficult conversations, and the passage of time, father and son are given one final chance to face their shared history and discover whether forgiveness and reconciliation are still possible.

About the Filmmaker

Enrique Lebrón is a cinematographer from Hartford, CT. Storytelling through film has been a passion of his since he was a kid. Growing up, he was inspired by the power of movies and how they could move people, and over time that inspiration became his path. He began his filmmaking journey in 2010, turning a lifelong dream into a purposeful career, capturing stories that matter and giving them a voice through the lens. Enrique is a two-time Boston/New England Regional Emmy nominee for his documentary shorts Ms. Niki (2024) and Reawakening Wonder (2023). Beyond his work behind the camera, Enrique is a father, husband, and a cancer/limb-loss survivor. Today, at 48 years old, he celebrates 30 years in remission. His journey of survival, resilience, and creativity continues to shape the stories he tells, reminding audiences that perseverance and art can walk hand in hand. Proud of his Afro-Latino and Puerto Rican heritage, Enrique carries his culture into his work, honoring his roots by uplifting voices and stories from his community. His filmmaking is both personal and collective, driven by identity, memory, and the belief that representation matters.
