An adventure between a father and a daughter, with humor, a camera, and a Chevy that becomes a refuge. Along the way, they discover they can still get closer, even if it’s a bit clumsy and off-balance.

About the Filmmaker
I’m Malena, and I don’t want to talk about myself in the third person. I’m a brown woman born in the ’90s in Catamarca, Argentina. I make films with humor because it’s the only way I know how. I’m not into solemnity. When I film, I do everything I can to let the intimate and the political intersect. I hope to contribute to a kind of cinema that represents us in the way it is made.
Malena soy yo y no les quiero hablar en tercera persona de mi. Acá, una mujer marrón que nació en los 90 en Catamarca, Argentina. Hago cine con humor porque es la única forma que conozco. No me gusta la solemnidad. Cuando filmo hago todo lo posible para que lo íntimo y lo político se atraviesen, quisiera aportar a un cine que nos represente en su modo de producción.
