Amissa, a small wooden doll, finds herself stuck in limbo for what seems like eternity. For her soul to rest in peace, she must find and let go of whatever is binding her and finally go to heaven.

About the Filmmaker
Raquel Borjas -
Born on March 10, 2004, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She is currently in her final year of studying Digital Animation and Interactive Design at UNITEC. In addition to animation, she also has several interests, including photography, illustration, and acting in film and theater. She completed a diploma at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts (ANAD), where she is currently taking a cinematography course. This has given her the opportunity to participate in several student short films. "Amissa Anima" is her first formal animated short film. After its completion, she became involved in the production of another student short film, called "Rastro," as an Assistant Director and 3D Animator.
Kory Montúfar -
Born on August 12, 2004, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She is currently in her final year of studying Digital Animation and Interactive Design at UNITEC. She has participated in the pre-production and production of several projects. She has experimented with various animation techniques, including 2D and 3D animation, and has a special inclination and interest for stop-motion, asset modeling, and the creation of surreal 3D scenarios. "Amissa Anima" was her debut in directing a formal short film. After its completion, she worked on the student short film "Rastro," where she took on the role of producer.
