The Youth Salon at

the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival 2018

The Philadelphia Latino Film Festival and Taller Puertorriqueño join forces for PHLAFF's 2018 Youth Salon. The goal of this collaboration is to provide young filmmakers in the region with opportunities to share resources and build community. The PHLAFF Youth Salon launched in 2016 with capacity building workshops, screenings and a panel.

Submission form is now online

The PHLAFF Youth Salon, now in its third year will include two hour workshop and screening. Workshops will provide an opportunity for young artists to engage in gaining new skills while exploring the art of filmmaking. The screening will showcase the 2018 Youth Salon Selections.

Festival programs attract a diverse audience, developing a new space in the Philadelphia region where filmmakers, actors, and producers can meet with other artists, engage with audiences and present and discuss innovative work.

Submissions for the Youth Salon are open now and will close on May 15, 2018. It is our hope that some of your students will submit their works and allow us the honor to share with our growing and diverse community.
